Unwanted Coworker
It took me 10 minutes to actually capture the thing between two pieces of cardboard—(they ARE full of germs, right?)—and shove it out the window. I called Derek back and he said—"POST IT!"

Cousin Brucie!
I hosted the Friars Celebrity Interview series with the legendary Cousin Brucie—an hour, one-on-one interview about his career, with stories about Elvis, his introducing the Beatles at Shea stadium, and the evolution of rock music.
Here's a tidbit:
I asked him: "If you could place one year of rock music in a time capsule for future generations which year would you pick?"
"1965—it built on the foundation of American rock from the 50's and was open to include the English wave and the West Coast sound."
By the way, Dick Clark's answer to the same question was 1957.
Both were memorable years.
INTERVIEW WITH JUDY COLLINS
Lots of news to report today. My interview with Judy Collins will appear on "MY GENERATION" on July 17th. Mark your calendars.
Two days later I'm headed for Monte Carlo on the Crystal Serenity...the cruise is billed as Mediterranean Masterpiece, which is apt when you check out the itinerary below:

Will report again soon before we set sail. Hope you all have a great summer!
